The Netherlands Consulate General in Chicago

Artwork for the lobby of the Netherlands Consulate General in Chicago.

The consul wanted clean, straightforward artwork in black lines showing four iconic buildings in the Netherlands. Now architecture highlights in Amsterdam (Pontsteiger), Groningen (Forum), Rotterdam (Erasmusbrug), and Maastricht (Bonnefanten) are decorating the entrance.

To visualize Chicago as well, some of the city's most iconic architecture is featured in the background: the Sears (now Willis) Tower, Marina City, St. Regis, and the John Hancock Center. When you enter the consulate general you can enjoy some of the best architecture in both the Netherlands and Chicago.
