The adoption of BikewalkOKC, Oklahoma City's first bicycle and pedestrian master plan, leads to the need for adding bicycle infrastructure to new and ongoing streetscape designs. The designs and sketches bring everyone involved and who is not familiar with cycling and bicycle infrastructure designs, up to speed. Each design shows the best possible ways to design and implement bike lanes, based on existing problems and limitations. Other designs show which investments should be considered for improving the quality of existing recreational bicycle trails.

Easy to understand, detailed designs show the multiple options for the safest cycling infrastructure possible. Every situation is different, so every design takes existing street conditions, needs and budget into account.
